Strange Wilderness

Strange Wilderness has three bad comic ideas for every good joke, and it botches many of those, too, thanks to slack comic timing and a nonexistent grasp of storytelling basics.

It made me laugh but, hey, either you’re in the mood for this kind of thing or you’re not.

Consistency isn't much a concern of Strange Wilderness, and neither is commitment: The boys break character and crack up before the last scene has even finished unspooling. Glad somebody's having a good time.

By far the funniest part of Strange Wilderness is the trailer for Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay that's running before it.

You'd have to be stoned out of your scrotum to have this any notion that a single moment of this crude, crotch-centric stoner comedy is funny.

This is a movie put together for moviegoers who thought Good Luck Chuck and Superbad were a little too mentally challenging.

This movie is designed for an audience that likes gross-out humour and endless silliness.

Strange Wilderness is a movie I can't recommend to anyone in good conscience. It fails on just about every level imaginable in spite of the promise of some very talented actors.

You'd have to be more than merely intoxicated to find anything about this dismal stoner comedy remotely funny. You'd have to be unconscious.
